As HOPE is all about the exercise of goodwill to people in
need, HOPE offers the opportunity for anyone to join this community
of concern for others. With most news coverage on Ethiopia and
Africa focused on negative events, we needs more people to tell
the good news of lives changed, people able to stand on their
own, and whole communities experiencing hope.
In spreading the word about our work that HOPE has carried
out in partnership with others, HOPE has used our written material
and recently our website. But nothing has been more effective
than the chain of people that have volunteered to tell others
about the need in Ethiopia and the response of HOPE. These people,
whom have beed designated as Ambassadors of HOPE, speak on our
behalf in their communities, schools, companies, etc. By so
doing, they raise support and important partnerships for the
work at home.
One can volunteer to do this by just applying to our main office.
HOPE will then give our material to help in the public information
work. Those contacted may give donations to be directed directly
to us so that the ambassadors will not be encumbered with the
handling funds. These ambassadors are welcome to visit us from
time to time to see the work that is financed by their contacts
and report back to them. In some cases, based on their arrangement,
they may be visited by our representative, who will make appearances
and speeches to the groups that have been raised up to support
HOPE financially, technically, or in other ways.
Please contact us for more information
on being an Ambassador of HOPE.
