Meeting the fundamental survival needs of the marginalized is the foundation for bringing hope and the starting point of service to beneficiaries. In providing the hungry with food, HOPE is doing more than providing physical sustenance; it is also communicating to beneficiaries that they matter. They are people with full rights and are in no way less than those with means and/or power.
